Who we are

Bhumi & Fang sells Ayurvedic wellness toppers for dogs. This policy explains what information we collect when you browse our store, place an order, take the dosha quiz, or chat with our AI assistant, and how we use and share it.

Information we collect

• Order & account details. When you check out we collect your email address, name, and shipping address, along with order and subscription details needed to fulfill and support your purchase. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment and subscription provider — we do not store full card numbers.
• Dog profile from the quiz. Answers you give in the dosha quiz (such as your dog's name, age, weight, activity, and wellness focus) are stored locally in your browser to personalize recommendations. This data stays on your device unless you choose to share it with us (for example, by signing up or placing an order).
• Chat messages. Messages you send to our “Ask Dr. Priya” assistant are processed by Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI model) to generate responses. Avoid sending sensitive personal information in chat.
• Usage data. Standard analytics such as pages viewed and device/browser information, used to improve the store.

How we use your information

• To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders and subscriptions.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To personalize product recommendations based on your quiz answers.
• To operate the AI assistant and improve the quality of our storefront (analytics).
• With your consent, to send marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the store, including:

• Our payment and subscription provider, to process payments and manage recurring orders.
• Anthropic (provider of the Claude AI model), which processes chat messages to power the “Ask Dr. Priya” assistant.
• Shipping, email, and analytics providers, strictly to deliver the services above.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the email address published on our contact page. Because your quiz-based dog profile is stored locally, you can clear it at any time from your browser.

United States (California): Under the CCPA and CalOPPA, California residents have rights to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell your data). We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required.
